IRONWOOD — The 2015-’16 budget the Ironwood City Commission will consider Monday includes a small increase in city property taxes. According to the proposed budget resolution, property taxes of $1,777,000 are projected, compared to the $1,675,000 approved a year ago, or less than a 1 percent increase. IRON BELT, Wis. - The man who brought the color pink to his Iron Belt construction business, Angelo Luppino, died this week of cancer at 82. He was born and raised in Hurley, graduating from the Hurley High School in 1952. He married Nancy Nelson in 1953 and they had two children, a son, Paul, and a daughter, Karen. IRONWOOD—A group met Saturday morning at the Michigan Welcome Center to help clean up the banks alongside the Montreal River.
