GURNEY, Wis. - Santa Claus made an early visit Saturday to begin the Christmas season at the eighth annual Gurney Gopher 4-H Club's pie social in Gurney. The 9.6 inches of lake-effect snow that fell through 7 a.m. Thursday brought the November total to 87.9 inches and the seasonal mark to 89.9 inches.
