    IRONWOOD - Lake Superior continued to blanket the Gogebic Range on Thanksgiving, as the new November snowfall record grew. The 9.6 inches of lake-effect snow that fell through 7 a.m. Thursday brought the November total to 87.9 inches and the seasonal mark to 89.9 inches. It snowed heavily after 7 a.m. Thursday, sending Ironwood closer to the 100-inch total for autumn.     HURLEY - With Christmas soon upon us, the Hurley PTO decided to use a classic holiday tradition in a new way. Instead of lighting a tree just for the holidays, the PTO is lighting a "Spirit Tree" in celebration or in memory of students, staff, alumni and the community of the Hurley K-12 School. According to the Food Bank Council of Michigan, "One in seven people in the United States does not know where their next meal is coming from."     BESSEMER - Hundreds of elementary students and their parents celebrated Thanksgiving a little early Tuesday with a Thanksgiving feast at Washington Elementary School in Bessemer.     HURLEY - Over the last 13 months, Iron County residents have been able to receive free supplemental food through Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, of Duluth, Minn., and the Iron County University of Wisconsin-Extension office.     IRONWOOD - The Barracuda Swim Team held a community meeting in Gogebic Community College's Lindquist Center conference room Thursday to discuss ideas surrounding concerns about the pool.
