    BESSEMER - Gogebic County's Relay for Life wrapped up Saturday morning with a fundraising pancake breakfast at the Bessemer VFW. With a menu of pancakes, French toast, eggs, baked goods, orange juice and coffee, the Bessemer and Wakefield VFWs helped raise some money for the fight against cancer.     SAXON, Wis. - The White Thunder Riders Snowmobile Club held its third annual vintage grass drags at the Iron County Fairgrounds Saturday. "We just decided to do a racing event and there are a lot of vintage competitions throughout the Midwest," said member Joe Olson.     HURLEY - The "Show Your Colors" 5-kilometer fun run starting and ending at the Hurley K-12 School Friday raised money for the volleyball team. A total of 115 runners ran around the school track and continued off school property westward down Range View Drive, turning south on County D, east on Division Street and north on 10th Avenue, and back onto Range View to the finish line at the school.     SAXON, Wis. - Attendance at the 2014 Iron County Fair lsat weekend topped 5,000. According to fair officials, 5,138 wrist bands were issued throughout the weekend, with children 5 and under getting in for free. A total of 337 exhibitors participated in the fair, with 1,253 exhibits on display. Results for the exhibits, horseshoe tournament, horse pull and pool tournament were released.     HURLEY - As of Friday afternoon, 588 people had signed up to take part in today's 46th Paavo Nurmi Marathon.     IRONWOOD - Eastbound traffic on U.S. 2 will still have access to the Gogebic County Fair set to begin next week, regardless of the ongoing U.S. 2 reconstruction.
