WASHINGTON (AP) - Toyota agreed to pay $1.2 billion to settle an investigation by the U.S. government, admitting that it hid information about defects that caused Toyota and Lexus vehicles to accelerate unexpectedly and resulted in injuries and deaths. Apostle Island National Lakeshore officials have closed the ice caves for the season along Lake Superior east of Cornucopia because of deteriorating conditions. WATERSMEET - The Nimrods celebrated Dr. Seuss's 110th birthday in comfort on March 7. Watersmeet School students and their parents were invited to spend the morning in their pajamas at school reading their favorite Dr. Seuss stories.
