The board of trustees approved a rate increase for the 2022-2023 school year during its regular meeting on Tuesday night. Students residing in Gogebic County will see an increase from $130 per credit hour to a rate of $134 per credit hour. The Ironwood Public Safety Department was notified at 8:38 a.m. of the structure fire north of U.S. 2 and dispatched fire trucks, Lieutenant and Fire Marshal Brandon Snyder said.
