Letter to editor 'brings sadness'

To the Editor:

A March 25 letter in the Daily Globe entitled “Keep protecting traditional marriage” has caused me to examine my thinking on whether or not I should continue buying and reading the Daily Globe.

That your newspaper could publish a letter that shows such complete disregard for the views of many millions of people whose beliefs do not coincide with the anti-gay, anti-abortion, anti-tolerant, indeed anti-Christian views of the letter boggles the mind.

Further, that your newspaper by publishing that letter should provide, rightly or wrongly, tacit approval for the bigoted views of the letter writer brings sadness deep in my soul. You should be ashamed.
