Water rising again

The road was closed to traffic Tuesday due to standing water and the rising level of the Montreal River from Lime Street to Riverside Drive. Several area residents walked the dry portion of the road Tuesday enjoying the sunshine. Officials from the Ironwood Public Safety Department and the Department of Public Works said the road remains closed until further notice.
