Track meet on next week

The Indianhead Conference track-and-field meet will be held as scheduled in Hurley on Tuesday. The track itself is snow-free, but there were still problem areas Wednesday, including areas just off the track near the finish line, above. The discus area includes a high snowbank as an obstacle. The long and triple jump pits also have a snowbank on top of them. Hurley put items such as the hurdles outside Wednesday. The conference usually has three conference meets, but because of this year’s slow snow melt, Tuesday will be the only one.
