BIG JON Picotte, of Hurley, left, and Steve Binz show two of the fish they caught Sunday in the Saxon Harbor Boating Club’s annual spring fishing contest. The salmon weighed 7.1 pounds and was the second largest taken in the big boats class. Other members of the Big Jon crew were Brian Tremal and Mitch Fleig. They caught five cohos, four lake trout and the chinook.
