IRONWOOD, Mich. — Ethel Kosuth, 84, a lifelong resident of Ironwood, entered eternal life on Monday, June 17, 2013.
She was born on Nov. 19, 1928, in Ironwood, the daughter of Andrew and Ludmila (Kozak) Vikartofsky. Ethel attended Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood.
In 1953, she married Stephen R. Kosuth at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Ironwood.
Ethel was employed by Michigan Bell Telephone Company for 30 years, and retired in 1981.
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Ethel is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stephen, on Feb. 10, 1976; two brothers, August and William; three sisters, Caroline, Dorothy and Martha; and three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 21, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation in the St. Joseph Family Room at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood, with the Rev. Michael Jacobus, celebrant.
Rite of Committal and interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood.
Lunch will be served in the parish hall immediately upon return from the cemetery.
