Downtown Ironwood Development Authority donation

The Kiwanis donation was part of more than $3,000 in donations from individuals and organizations that bought two semi loads of sod to be installed in the park. More than 60 volunteers installed the sod over two nights, with watering done on a volunteer basis by the Ironwood Public Safety Department and Festival Ironwood Committee members. “We want to thank everyone who helped in any way,” Garske said. “The community has come together to make this park a beautiful gathering place for our citizens and a welcoming site for all visitors.”
