BESSEMER, Mich. — Harold J. Peters, 77, of 201 S. Peck St., Bessemer, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013.
He was born June 16, 1936, in Ashland, Wis. He graduated from Luther L. Wright High School and was employed at Chrysler Corp. in Kenosha, Wis., for 35 years. Harold retired physically disabled.
He was a member of Sharon Lutheran Church in Bessemer.
Harold is survived by his wife, Doreen; five children, Susan, Mike (Sharon), Tim, Dale (Shirley) and Peggy Ann; six grandchildren, Jessie, Lon, Jason, Carrie, Julie and Jeff; five great-grandchildren, Hailey, Skylar, Isabel, Jordan and Jacob; and brothers-in-law, Del (Lorraine) Tervo and Dennis (Darlene) Tervo.
In accordance with Harold’s wishes, Range Funeral Service and Crematory, Frick-Zielinski Funeral Home of Bessemer is handling cremation arrangements.
A gathering with family and close friends will be held on July 13.
