Little League District 11 Tournament

PENOKEE RANGE’S Mason Saubert slides safely into third base as the Baraga County third baseman awaits the throw on Saturday during the Little League District 11 Tournament being held at the John Krznarich Field in Ironwood. Penokee Range defeated Baraga County 11-3. Parker Wilson pitched a complete game win for Penokee Range. On Sunday, Penokee Range defeated Portage Lake 18-5. Wilson hit two home runs with Brett Heil adding another. Penokee Range will return to action Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m. against Marquette at John Krznarich Field in Ironwood in the winner’s bracket semifinal. Games continue daily through Thursday.
