Downtown Art Place holds fundraiser

CHAR BRICKNER organizes the Downtown Art Place Friday afternoon to prepare for the “Foot-in-the-Door” fundraiser. Numerous 12x12-inch wood panels decorated by local artists will be the focus of a silent auction to raise money for the facility on Aurora Street in downtown Ironwood. The event runs until July 20. Downtown Art Place is open from 10 a.m. to noon and 4-6 p.m. Bidding closes at 7 p.m. on July 20 and the winners will be announced that evening.
