DETROIT — Rebecca Swett successfully defended her doctoral thesis in the chemistry department at Wayne State University in Detroit on July 23.
Swett’s successful defense of her thesis, “Computational Approaches for Anti-toxin Therapies and Biomarker Identification,” earned her a Doctor of Philosophy degree. She worked on the thesis with professors Andreas Cisneros and Andrew Feig for five years.
Swett has accepted a position with a company in Boston and has relocated there. She is the daughter of Ralph and Betty Swett, of Wakefield.
