Stacey M. Peterson

IRONWOOD, Mich. — Stacey M. Peterson, 34, of Ironwood, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, due to health complications.

Stacey was born on Dec. 19, 1978, in Sheboygan, Wis., the daughter of Dee Gillian. She attended West Bend (Wis.) High School.

Stacey is survived by her mother, Dee, Woodruff, Wis .; a sister, Nicole Oetzel, West Bend; two nephews, Nathan and Jayden; a niece, Katlyn; two uncles, Glenn (Julie) Peterson, Oostburg, Wis., and Gerald (Laurie) Peterson, Cedar Grove, Wis .; two great-aunts, Carol Lund and Judy Ukasick, both of Wales, Wis .; five cousins; her lifetime companion, Travis Richardson, and his family, Ironwood; and her beloved pets.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Zimmerman; her grandparents, Julius and Dorothy Zimmerman, and Wilbur “Pete” and Joan Peterson; and Travis’ beloved mother, Carol Brandau.

A memorial service will be held Monday, Aug. 19, at 3 p.m., preceded by visitation at 2:30 p.m., at All Saints Lutheran Church in Wakefield, with the Rev. Bill Jacobson officiating.
