A blinking yellow light warns motorists along U.S. 2 east of the intersection with Section 12 and Country Club roads in Ironwood Township Wednesday afternoon. This light and one like it on the west side of the intersection were added to existing warning signs by Michigan Department of Transportation personnel earlier in the day. This work comes on the heels of recently installed crosswalk lights at the corner of U.S. 2 and Moore Street in Bessemer.
