ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Carol Sue Alleva, 66, of Anchorage, formerly of Hurley, Wis., passed away Sept. 13, 2013, peacefully at home in Anchorage, with her family at her side.
Carol was born Feb. 1, 1947, in Ironwood, Mich., daughter of the late Matt and Ida Kleimola. Carol graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1965.
Carol was united in marriage with James A. Alleva on March 20, 1965. He survives.
Carol’s presence lives on through her husband and six children, including two daughters, Gina Alleva, Palmer, Alaska, and Lisa Alleva Siler, Anchorage, and four sons, James M. Alleva, Eagle River, Alaska, Scot Alleva, Hurley, Andre Alleva, Anchorage, and Matthew Alleva, Waterville, Ohio.
Carol was also loved and adored by 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Byron (Pat) Kleimola, Duluth, Minn .; and a sister, Sharon Leigh Kleimola, Rochester, Mich.
Carol was a homemaker and loved cooking for her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved by all that knew her. Carol is going to be greatly missed.
Burial will be at Sunset Acres, Ironwood Township, in the summer of 2014.
