EMPLOYEES FROM Ruotsala Concrete Construction lay down cement at the Patrick O’Donnell Civic Center Friday in Ironwood. According to center manager Brian Roehm, the rink will have ice by Oct. 31. He said it was three years of “hard work” getting the project together. He thanked board members, volunteers and Ruotsala Concrete Construction for helping in the project because, “it’s not just a want, it’s a need” for the civic center.
