IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. — Willard L. “Will” Lehto, 80, of East Vaughn Street, Ironwood, passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain.
He was born Sept. 17, 1933, in Ironwood, son of the late Archie and Martha (Kivisto) Lehto. He attended and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood. Will also served in the Korean War as a member of the United States Army.
Will is survived by his sister, Jenny Robertson, of Gilroy, Calif .; daughter, Dawn (Jeff) Sisley, of Grafton, Wis .; his two sons, Dale Lehto, of Hartford, Wis., and Daren (Cheryl) Lehto, of Ironridge, Wis .; four grandchildren, Cassandra, Justin, Josh and Jordan; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a very special nephew, Randy (Chrystal) King, and many other nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Will was preceded in death by two other sisters, Beverly King and Betty Wernecke.
Willard’s wish was to be cremated with a private service to be held.
