IRONWOOD, Mich. — Terry Lynn Lytwyniuk, 55, of Ironwood, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, Oct. 22, 2013, after a two-and-a-half year battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
Terry was born on July 1, 1958, in Ironwood, the daughter of Donald and Janet (Wahlberg) Toivonen. She graduated from Luther L. Wright High School, with the class of 1976.
On March 25, 1990, Terry was united in marriage to Eric Lytwyniuk in Las Vegas.
She was an insurance agent for more than 30 years for Twin City Insurance Agency. Terry was employed by Jacquart Fabric Products for three years.
She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ironwood. Terry volunteered countless hours for church events and other charities.
Her interests included gardening, baking, cooking and sewing.
Terry is survived by her husband, Eric; a daughter, Katie, Ironwood; three sisters, Barb (Larry) Tibaldo, Ironwood, Jean (Randall) Barker, Bristol, Tenn., and Sherry (Roger) Hill, Dollar Bay; her mother-in-law, Caroline Lytwyniuk, Ironwood; several nieces and nephews, Niki (Patrick) McRae, Ironwood, Casey Tibaldo (Tyler Vandervest), Green Bay, Wis., Ryan Tibaldo, Ironwood, Patrick Latham, Randi, Riley and Sam Barker, all of Bristol, and Zachary, Alex and Danny Hill, all of Dollar Bay.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Janet; her father-in-law, Ludwig Lytwyniuk; and her brother-in-law, Kelly Latham.
At Terry’s request, cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 9:30 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Mary Beth Kovanen officiating.
