MHSAA Selection

THE GOGEBIC Miner football team gathered in coach Mark Mazzon's room at A.D. Johnston High School to watch the MHSAA Selection Sunday show in which all the high school playoff teams were announced. The Miners finished with a 6-3 record and qualified for the playoffs in Division 8 Region 1. Gogebic will play undefeated Crystal Falls Forest Park in Crystal Falls. L'Anse and Lake Linden play in the other half of Region 1, District 1. Most of the playoff games will be on Friday, but the official time and date will be announced today.
