Performance in Ashland

THE NORTHLAND College Percussion Ensemble, featuring music professor Joel Glickman, center, and students Parker Matzinger and leah Jaynes, will perform Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Alvord Theatre at Northland College in Ashland, Wis. Glickman will debut an original set of short, jazz-style movements inspired by his recent visit to New York City entitled "New York Sweet." "Music is my way of holding onto moments," Glickman said. "Some folks use sketchpads, diaries, or journals - I write music." The concert is free and open to the public.
