MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Regina J. (Cisewski) Peterson, 97, of Minneapolis, passed away on Dec. 4, 2013.
Regina was born and raised in Montreal, Wis., where she was a tennis champion and valedictorian of her class. After she moved to Minneapolis in the mid-1930s and during the mid-1950s, Regina and her then husband, Don Peterson, began an electrical contracting company, Electric Service. She also was a lifetime bridge master, real estate agent and tax preparer, as well as a financial planner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Josephine Cisewski; brothers, Anton, Walter, John and Joseph; and sisters, Annie, Mary, Catherine, Rose and Lottie.
She will be deeply missed by her three children, Thomas Peterson, James (Melissa) Peterson and Mary Margaret (John) Stachnik. She will also be deeply missed by her five grandchildren and her 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 9, at Incarnation Church, 3801 Pleasant Ave. S., Minneapolis.
