MADISON, Wis. - Thomas A. Finco, 71, of Lone Rock, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Meriter Hospital in Madison.
He was born on July 10, 1942, in Ironwood, Mich., the son of Benjamin and Ann (Sertich) Finco.
Thomas was married on Jan. 26, 2007, to the former Doris Huckaba.
He worked many years in the commercial farming industry and retired from Hartung Brothers in 2006 as purchasing manager. In their free time, Tom and Dori enjoyed spending time at their trailer near Montello.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Finco, of Lone Rock; eight children, Tom (Kate) Finco, of Oconomowoc, Steve (Annette) Finco, of Mercer, Paul (Stacey) Finco, of Misawa Air Force Base in Japan, Angie Finco, of Appleton, Thomas Gray, of LaCrosse, Vernon Gray, of Mosinee, Rick Gray, of Boscobel, and Michelle (Roger) Allert, of Lone Rock; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five siblings, Francyne Johnson, of Jackson, Benjamin Finco and Bev, of Green Bay, Ginnie (Dennis) Anderson, of Ironwood, Mark (LuAnn) Finco, of Green Bay, and Dan (Vicki) Finco, of Ironwood; a brother-in-law, Reino Nelson, of Ironwood; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Ann Finco; and a sister, Gail Nelson.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home in Spring Green from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
