John Sokol, an instructor at Gogebic Community College, takes a ride on the chairlift at Mt. Zion ski hill with his daughter, Julia, Tuesday. Julia, a second grader at Hurley K-12 School, was skiing with many of her elementary school classmates. Several of GCC's ski area management students spent the afternoon teaching Hurley students in grade K-6.
