More than 300 junior high school students attended the rally from across the Upper Peninsula. Curtis Stephan, of Coppell, Texas, was the keynote speaker and musician for the day. "His mission is simple: To spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to a world starving for it," chaperone Angie Mazurek said. The rally featured workshops, activities, food, Mass, Reconciliation and a question and answer session with Bishop John Doerfler, the recently-installed bishop of the Diocese of Marquette.
