DULUTH, Minn. - Louise W. Moselle, 92, of Duluth, formerly of Ironwood, Mich., passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014.
She was born Aug. 7, 1921, in Wakefield, Mich., to John Oscar and Wilhelmina Nordlund.
On Sept. 13, 1941, Louise married Leno Moselle in Bessemer, Mich.
Louise was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy came from caring for others.
Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leno; her parents; brothers, Rudolph, Ivar, Ira, Willard and Gordon; and sisters, Ethel McClain, Audrey Pietchak and Marion Bianchi.
Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her children, Roger (Jean) Moselle, of Ironwood, and Mary (Dwight) Barth, of Duluth; five grandchildren, Tracy (Cory) Peterson, of Hermantown, Jacqueline (Jeffrey) Majerle, of Esko, Scott (Alicia) Moselle, of Denver, and Patrick Moselle and Robin (Donald) Thomas, all of Ironwood; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Haven for their care, love and friendship. They would also like to thank the Essentia-St. Mary's Hospice Team for their care and compassion.
Private services will take place.
Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood.
