FEEDING HILLS, Mass. — Alice L. (Suomi) Drzal, 81, died Friday, March 7, 2014.
Alice was the wife of the late Stanley A. Drzal for 60 years. He predeceased her on Feb. 19, 2011.
She was born in Bessemer, Mich., to the late Arne and Helia (Benson) Suomi. She graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer in 1950.
She later lived in Chicopee, Mass., before moving to Feeding Hills in 1992. She was a communicant at St. Stanislaus Catholic Basilica in Chicopee.
Alice is survived by two sons, Loren Drzal, of Lexington, Ky., and Keith (Rebecca) Drzal, of Frederick, Md .; a daughter, Marlene (Gerald) Chretien, of Feeding Hills; four grandchildren, Timothy, Alexis and Justin Chretien, and Emily Lasater; and two great-grand children, Garnett and Connor Chretien.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam, Mass. A funeral home ceremony will follow at 6 p.m.
