HURLEY — Hurley mayor Joe Pinardi was re-elected in Tuesday’s general election.
He ran unopposed for the two-year term, and received 285 votes.
Eight candidates also vied for six seats on the city council.
Four incumbents won re-election, including: Joanne Bruneau (259 votes), Steven Lombardo (255), Jamey Francis (227) and Robert Lanctoe (220).
Also winning seats were newcomers Jay “Budgey” Aijala (185) and Terry Seibel (169).
Incumbent Charlene Mussatti was not re-elected, receiving 158 votes, and candidate Stephen Karasti finished with 122 votes.
Incumbent Don Richards did not seek re-election.
