Motor carrier officer shows off new weigh scale

Motor Carrier Officer Brandon Snyder holds one of the recently purchased used weigh scales for the Ironwood Public Safety Department's Motor Carrier Enforcement program recently in Ironwood. The program was established to increase enforcement of commercial vehicle regulations and help protect the city's streets. The scales, which cost around $5,800 when new, are transportable and will be used at the weigh site in Bessemer.
