WAKEFIELD – The Wakefield-Marenisco school held its second annual craft fair Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"It's going to be held every last Saturday in April," said Title I teacher Teri Giuliano.
Vendors sold candles, woodwork pieces, Avon cosmetics, blankets and more.
Patricia Mann, known as the Crafty Lady, was one such vendor.
She sold various styles of homemade accessories, including multicolored, beaded necklaces and "snap bags." This was her first time hosting a table at the fair.
Other activities included a raffle and snack bar.
For the first time, students from preschool through 6th grade helped assemble baskets for the raffle.
"I came up with the idea," said Giuliano, "Our goal is mainly to buy new desks and chairs."
