KINCHELOE, Mich. — Michael Louis Kooiker Brostoski, DO, MBA, 38, born May 23, 1976 in Hinsdale, Ill., died at home in Kincheloe on May 29, 2014.
Michael was a doctor and a scholar. He grew up in Kansas City, Mo., and was always there with a helping hand for those in need.
A graduate of Penn Valley Community College, Rockhurst University, and Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He enjoyed flying his kite, riding his bike, driving his car fast, and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Stacy Kooiker Brostoski; parents, Robert and RoseAnn (LaMartina) Brostoski; brother, Gregory Brostoski; parents-in-law, Clayton and Jan Kooiker; uncles, Joseph, Victor, Timothy, Sam, John and Jerry LaMartina; grandmother, Beverly LaMartina and loving aunts and cousins.
