Sinkhole in Ironwood continues to grow

MONDAY'S FREQUENT rains were causing a giant sinkhole along an all-terrain vehicle trail in Ironwood to slowly expand. The bottom-less crater off Southwest Street was reported to the Ironwood Public Safety Department last week by an ATV rider . There's a barbed fence around the mining subsidence, but part of it has fallen down. The sturdier fence in the background shows how big the crater has grown.
