IRONWOOD – The Klassic Kruiser car club held its annual summer kick-off at the depot park Wednesday evening.
"The club is 23 years old," said member Linda Gustafson, "And we've been doing this event for about 15 years."
Activities included a 50/50 raffle, karaoke and a people's choice awards ceremony.
"Attendance depends on the weather," said Gustafson.
"We usually get around 20 to 25."
The club holds events every Wednesday night throughout the summer.
Though most of the club's summer events are held for members only, the summer kick-off and "grand finale" are open to the public.
Other upcoming events include a drive-in movie night at Northstar Electronics on the last Saturday in August and the grand finale on the first Wednesday in September.
