Mercer works toward beautifying town

TOWN OF Mercer employee Jerry Huffmaster, left, assists volunteer Ginny Kemplin, president of the Woods and Blooms Garden Club, set petunias into all of the downtown flower planters recently in Mercer, Wis. Kemplin also performed all necessary pre-planting preparations. This is the second year that she has donated her time and talent to the town to help with beautifying the area, a news release said.
