Tree of Honor list in Bessemer

ALYSSA SCHWAB, of Ironwood, sings during the fifth annual Tree of Honor lighting ceremony Thursday evening in Bessemer. The ceremony honors past and present military veterans with a red, white or blue light to represent each one. The ceremony included a reading of names on this year's memorial plaque by Linda Nelson, playing of "Taps" by Jake Zielinski and Myron Re, small fireworks and lighting of each Tree of Honor, which will remain lit through the Bessemer Blast Fourth of July celebration.
