MERCER, Wis. - Hundreds of people lined U.S. 51 through downtown Mercer Friday to celebrate the Fourth of July.
The town held its annual parade, featuring floats, classic cars, motorcycles and fire trucks.
"Pedal and Paddle" was the theme of the parade, allowing entrants to use their creativity using bikes, canoes or kayaks.
Many local businesses, organizations and residents participated, throwing candy, beaded necklaces and even water balloons.
After the parade, attendees enjoyed food, games, swimming and a fireworks show at Carow Park.
