Big fish story

Cooper Aho, 4, center, his fathter Phil Aho, left, and friend Jim Siirila, all of Ironwood, show off the catch of the day Saturday, July 5. The group were fishing on Lake Superior aboard the Synker out of Black River Harbor. Despite 4-foot waves, Cooper helped land 20-pound, 38-inch and 14-pound, 30-inch lakers. While this was Cooper's first Great Lakes experience, he's been fishing on boats since he was 6 months.
