GREEN BAY, Wis. — Robert “Bob” Malnar, 62, of Ewen, passed away July 13, 2014, in Green Bay.
He was born April 28, 1952, in Wakefield, Mich., to James P. and Grace M. Malnar.
Bob was a Vietnam War veteran, serving his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He loved four-wheeling, hunting and range shooting. Bob was a member of Whitetails Unlimited and was liked by all whom he met.
Bob is survived by a daughter, Shanelle Malnar; his mother, Grace M. Malnar, of Ewen, Mich .; brothers, James W., of Duluth, Minn., Richard D. (Kelly), of Keizer, Ore., Kenneth P. (Sylvia), of St. Germain, Wis., and Ronald J. (Kate) of Mesa, Ariz .; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James P. Malnar.
A memorial service will take place Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ewen. Friends are invited to gather at the church one hour prior to the start of the service.
Inurnment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery with military rites provided by the Ontonagon County Veterans Association.
