Robert Edwin Rajala

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Robert Edwin Rajala, 75, formely of Ironwood, Mich., and resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died March 10, 2014, at home with his family by his side.

He is survived by Ann, his wife of 53 years, his sons, Eric and Bruce, grandchildren, Bradley and Lynn, and a great-grandson, Kristoff, all of Albuquerque; his son, Brian, and grandchildren, Alexis and Raquel, of Tucson, Ariz .; a sister Annette Pettit, of Minneapolis, Minn .; and brother, Russell, of Wisconsin.

Bob graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood and then began his career in 1958 in the U.S. Air Force, where he became an electronics engineer in both scientific and industrial applications until his retirement in 2007.

A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 22, at 10 a.m.

Burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
