Mesun, Butcher, Gabka to perform benefit concert

Keyboardist Tim Mesun, center, of Ironwood Township, will be performing his 14th benefit concert for area charities on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Historic Ironwood Theatre. He will be joined by Paul Butcher, left, on trumpet and accordion. Butcher is the director of jazz studies at Florida Southern College. They will be joined by local oboist and singer Megan Gabka. The trio will perform works from a variety of musical genres including blues, jazz and classical. All proceeds will go to the H.O.P.E. animal shelter.
