DULUTH, Minn. — Delores Catherine George, 72, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Essentia Health in Duluth on Aug. 6, 2014.
Delores was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Wakefield, Mich., the daughter of Ina and Delore Baker.
Delores was joined in marriage to Donald George on Aug. 7, 1976.
She spent her career as a nurse after graduating from Gogebic Community College and Northern Michigan University with degrees in nursing.
She is survived by her husband, Donald, Bessemer; her children, Mary and husband, Joe, of Minneapolis, Minn., Thomas (Gina), Ironwood, Mich., and Karen; three brothers, Raymond, Wakefield, Donald (Jane), Kenosha, Wis., and Jack (Sandra), Georgia .; as well as two grandchildren, Michael Magnuson and Jamie DeWitt; and her loving faithful dog, Buck.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
Services will be held at a later date.
