SHARLENE AND Gary Shaffer, of Powderhorn Farms, near Bessemer, and their dog, Angel, offer produce for sale late Friday afternoon at the farmers market in Ironwood's Depot Park. On a cool day, business wasn't brisk, but steady. The Shaffers said they also sell at markets in Hurley and Ironwood Township more as a hobby than a profit-making exercise. It's the second year of the farmers market in Ironwood.
