SURPRISE, Ariz. - Carole Lee Leonard, 81, of Surprise and formerly of Wakefield, Mich., passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014.
Carole "Dolly" Randall was born Oct. 4, 1932, the youngest of five children, to the late James and Mabel Randall, operators of Randall Bakery.
She attended Wakefield schools. She married and moved to Los Angeles, where her four children were born.
She later moved to Seattle, where she met and married her beloved husband of over 40 years, Jim Leonard.
Carole and Jim were active square dancers, skiers and golfers. Carole loved to cook and bake, and was a self-taught "techie."
Carole is survived by her husband; a daughter, Nickie Wilder, Seattle; and son, Jay Horspool, Tri-Cities, Wash .; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Darell "Red" Randall, Clayton Randall, Roger Randall and Clyde "Chub" Randall; and two daughters, Michelle Lisherness and Renee Story.
Carole will be laid to rest with her parents in Wakefield.
