A CHECK is presented by the Mercer School to the Towne family on Thursday morning in honor of Peyton Towne, a fourth-grade student suffering from Byler's disease. On Sept. 12, the school hosted an event called "Paws for Peyton," to raise money toward Peyton's medical expenses.
