SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT

REPRESENTATIVES OF the Mercer School receive a School of Recognition Award on Monday from Deputy State Superintendent Mike Thompson (right center) in Madison. Shown are Mercer School Board president Deanna Pierpont, vice president Kelly Kohegyi, Thompson and district administrator Erik Torkelson. It was the seventh consecutive time the school has received the award. The school received $500 to use for school activities or needs. A ceremony was held in the State Capitol Rotunda, recognizing 173 Wisconsin schools.
