IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP - The Ironwood Township Board discussed an open position on the planning commission Monday.
Commission member Frank Genisot is leaving his position, effective Jan. 1.
The board will advertise in the newspaper to gather applications.
The deadline for the applications is Nov. 18 and an appointment will be announced on Nov. 24.
"If you know of anybody who would be interested, tell them to look for the ad, or contact the office," township clerk Gayla Salmi said.
In other business, trustee Kevin Lyons asked that accounts receivable be included in the monthly reports from the treasurer. Lyons said he would like the accounts receivable as of Sept. 30 emailed to him.
At the last meeting, treasurer Jyl Olson-DeRosso said she would include them for Lyons, but she was absent Monday.
