VOTERS AT Bessemer's City Hall fill booths Tuesday as the nation headed to the polls for the mid-term election. Bessemer officials said the polls were very busy through the day.
BESSEMER - Six candidates competed for three four-year terms on the Bessemer School Board Tuesday.
Elected were Beth Steiger, 657 votes, and incumbents Annette Lillie, 498, and Robert Berg, 456.
Defeated were William Van Hill, 357; Cory Wainio, 391, and incumbent William McDonald, 270.
Mary Beth Trudgeon defeated Dave Osier 583-359 for a two-year term on the school board.
